Ebook Central: Full-Download – how to download a book for offline reading on a computer

Use Adobe Digital Editions to read Ebook Central books on your Android phone or tablet.

The process for downloading a full ebook for offline reading on an iOS device using the Adobe Digital Editions (ADE) app.

Use Adobe Digital Editions to checkout and read Ebook Central Titles from Proquest. Note that when it asks for an account login you cannot use your ONU credentials. You need to have your own personal adobe account. You have to set up a free personal account with Adobe ID. We are actually authenticating and downloading the ebook from the Proquest site so that is where we authenticate. The reader is just a tool and not the same authentication process.

Some Ebook Central ebooks are provided to us by their publishers in a file format that allows the text to be resized in the online reader, so they are compatible with online reading on a small mobile device.
