Permissions Issue in EBSCO
After entering your ONU credentials and connecting to an EBSCOhost database, a pop-up message may prompt you to consent or decline to have “personal information collected.” Benner Librarians encourage researchers to agree to this message.
- If you agree, EBSCO will automatically create an account for you. The account is linked to your Olivet credentials and will open every time you connect to an EBSCOhost database. It’s an easy and private place to store articles. Make accounts for specific topics, assignments, and courses. Your search words and activities can be deleted at any time. Note: if you already had an EBSCO account, follow this link/instructions to link it to your new account.
- If you decline, you’ll be invited to change your mind the next time you connect.
