Connect to BLISweb: Olivet Nazarene University's online catalog

Demo of Boolean Operators (AND, OR, NOT)

Follow these steps to find books on your topic:

  1. Do a keyword or subject heading search in BLISweb | tutorials for I-Share (the I-Share catalog works the same as BLISweb)


      2. quick search screen
      Do a Quick Search, or...
      advanced search screen
      ...do an Advanced Search if you want to use AND, OR, NOT.

    Use " " for phrase searches; use + to include each term.

  2. Write down the call numbers that seem most relevant
  3. Go to the stacks to find the books you recorded
