Nursing Process

1. In CINHAL, enter “Nursing Process” in the first search field, and change the “Default Field” to “MM Exact Major Subject Heading”
 
   
2. Narrow your search by adding an area of nursing that interests you or applies to your job.
   
3. ”Nursing Process” encompasses five areas. Any of these topics may also be searched as a Subject Heading:
 
  • Nursing Assessment
  • Nursing Care Plans
  • Nursing Diagnosis
  • Nursing Interventions
  • Nursing Outcomes
   
4. Remember if a full text link is not provided, use the "Request this item (ILL)" option. The Interlibrary Loan Department can usually get the item for you, and send it to your email in a few days.
