Parking & Walking to Benner Library

Parking

There are four major parking lots on campus for visitors. The two largest are McHie and Weber parking lots, which are northwest of most of the campus buildings as you can see on the map (note the "V's" on the map designating parking areas for visitors). The Ludwig parking lot is easily accessible from University Avenue, which is the main entrance to campus from Illinois Highway 45 (Main Street). The lot closest to the library, however, is probably the Larsen/Reed parking lot, which is accessible from Main Street, between University Avenue and the Highway 102 intersection at the light.

From Larsen/Reed to Benner

From the Larsen/Reed parking lot, walk between the Larsen Fine Arts Center and Reed Hall of Science, across the Esplanade, past the south end of Chapman Hall and on to the front entrance of the library. You may ask for help at the Circulation Desk immediately to your left as you enter, or at the Reference Desk, which is straight ahead.
