Area Public Libraries
Information
- Any item owned by local libraries may be borrowed via Benner Interlibrary Loan (ILL). Allow 1 week (2 days for RUSH requests). Contact ILL by email (ILL@olivet.edu) or phone (928-5439).
- Olivet ID cards are not accepted as public library cards.
- Illinois residents may use a valid Illinois public library card at any Illinois public library.
- If you are not an Illinois resident and live in Olivet housing, then you may get a library card from the Bourbonnais public library, valid only at that library.
- If you are an out of state ONU student and do not live in Olivet housing you may apply for a public library card in your town of residence. Cards are valid at any Illinois public library.
- ONU students are welcome to attend book discussions and programs at area public libraries. Registration may be required.
