Creating Links to Faculty Scholarship

For Viewing Individual Faculty

Go to Faculty Scholarship - Alphabetical Listing to view all professors. Select a professor to view that professor's scholarship activities.

To create a link to a particular professor, first copy this link: http://www.cybrarianprof.org/facultyscholar/generalview.cfm. Append the following characters: ?user= followed by the username of the professor you wish to create a link to. Usernames (Login IDs) can be found in the University phone book and in Groupwise.

It is also possible to show a professor's scholarly items in only a few selected categories. After appending the ?user= characters, append the characters &category= with its identification number, as seen in the list below. A link can also have multiple category listings. Separate each category number with a comma.

Category codes:

  1. Published materials
  2. Unpublished papers
  3. Outside teaching activities
  4. Professional activities
  5. Recitals, fine art exhibits
  6. Travel
  7. Community Service
  8. Personal recognitions

For Viewing Faculty by Department

Go to Faculty Scholarship - View by Department Discipline.

To create a link to professors in a particular department, first create a link to http://www.cybrarianprof.org/facultyscholar/deptcodeview.cfm. Append the following characters: ?code= followed by the four letter department code of the department you wish to create a persistent link to. You may also use multiple department codes. Separate multiple department codes with a comma.

To create a link to a particular school of study, first create a link to http://cybrarianprof.org/facultyscholar/divisionview.cfm and append the following characters: ?school= followed by the one digit school code of the school you wish to create a link to. divisionview.cfm also accepts multiple division codes. Separate each code with a comma.

One Digit Codes:

  1. College of Arts and Sciences
  2. School of Professional Studies
  3. School of Theology and Christian Ministry
  4. School of Education
  5. School of Graduate and Continuing Studies
